1991–1995
The medieval „Totentanz“, (Danse macabre/dance of death), symbolizes the absolute relativization.
„Death“ is the egalitarian, affecting the king as well as the beggar.
IDEM DIVERSUM: the same different – a paradox – we are all the same and all unique.
Each person was photographed under the same conditions:
- the distance to the camera was two meters, sixty centimeters
- the eye-level was constant
This series was realized in three continents and with over two hundred people.
